Tea Tips to ensure a great-tasting brew
Oxygen, moisture, and aromas are
enemies of tea. Store tea bags in a
dark, cool, dry place away from strong
odors and moisture. Do not
refrigerate. Keep in airtight
containers, preferably metal.
Use good water and measure two
grams (roughly a teaspoon) of tea
for a 5.5 to 6 ounce serving.
Bring water to a full boil, and
steep 5 minutes for black, oolong
and herbal teas; steep 3 minutes for
white and green.
Precise steeping times contribute
to superior taste, flavor and aroma.
For a stronger brew, simply add more
leaves.
