Iced Tea Recipe:
Passion Fruit Green Tea Spritzer
4 cups cold water
3 tbsp. Heaven on Earth passion fruit green tea
1/3 cup honey
Chilled sparkling water, as needed
Fresh mint sprig for garnish (optional)
1. Heat 2 cups of water to just before boiling in a small saucepan. Add the passion fruit green tea leaves, and let steep for 3 minutes.
2. Remove the tea leaves from the water with a tea strainer (you can use a pasta strainer) by pouring the tea through the tea strainer into a heat proof 2-quart container. Stir in the honey. Add the remaining two cups of water. Let cool, then chill.
3. When ready to serve, fill 6 tall glasses with ice. Fill each glass three-quarters full with tea and top off with sparkling water. Garnish with a mint sprig, if desired.
